USMS Contractor Charged with Coercion and Enticement of a Minor

On April 29, 2025, a former USMS contractor assigned to the Information Technology Division in Virginia, was arrested following a criminal complaint charging him with coercion and enticement of a minor. Michael Bourne was charged in the Eastern District of Virginia. According to the criminal complaint, between August 18, 2022, and August 19, 2022, Bourne committed a violation of coercion and enticement of a minor within the Eastern District of Virginia. The investigation is being conducted jointly by the OIG’s Washington Office and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).
