On May 29, 2025, a non-DOJ individual was arrested on one count of Conspiracy to Commit Access Device Fraud and one count of Aggravated Identity Theft. Tonianne Dixon was previously charged by Information in the Southern District of Florida. According to the Information, from on or about December 2023, to on or about February 22, 2024, Dixon knowingly, and with intent to defraud, obtained and sold personal identification information, including Social Security Numbers, dates of birth, and driver license numbers issued to other persons (“unauthorized access devices”). Dixon possessed 15 or more unauthorized access devices that she obtained from a co-conspirator who was a government employee and sold to another co-conspirator via Telegram message. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Miami office.
