Former BOP Nurse Charged with Abusive Sexual Contact with a Ward and False Statements

On March 25, 2025, a former BOP Nurse previously assigned to the Federal Medical Center in Rochester, Minnesota, was charged with one count of abusive sexual contact with a ward and one count of false statements. Jessica Larson was charged in the District of Minnesota. According to the Indictment, from in or about April 2024, Larson entered into a romantic relationship with an inmate, exchanged sexually explicit letters with him, and engaged in sexual contact. After the relationship was discovered by the BOP, Larson filed a false report claiming she was sexually assaulted by the inmate. The investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Chicago Office and the FBI.
