Former BOP Correctional Officer Sentenced for Providing Contraband in Prison

On January 31, 2025, a former BOP Correctional Officer previously assigned to the Metropolitan Detention Center Brooklyn (MDC Brooklyn) in New York, was sentenced to 12 months of probation for providing contraband in prison. Fabienne Osias was sentenced in the Eastern District of New York. The investigation was conducted by the OIG’s New York Office.
