Former BOP Correctional Officer Indicted for Bribery

On December 5, 2023, a former BOP Correctional Officer assigned to Federal Correctional Center Forrest City (FCC Forrest City) in Forrest City, Arkansas, was indicted on one count of bribery of a public official.  Robert Cochran was indicted in the Eastern District of Arkansas.  According to the indictment, from on or about October 1, 2022, through on or about February 27, 2023, Cochran corruptly agreed to receive and accept money in exchange for smuggling contraband into FCC Forrest City.  This investigation is being conducted by the OIG’s Dallas Office.
